The goal of this site is to digitally archive print skateboard media.
I'm still figuring out the best process to get clear scans without damaging the magazine.
Thrasher: Right now, I'm loosening the pages from the outer, glued binding to ensure a flat scan and minimal page damage.
The Skateboard Mag: These are a little more difficult to separate because they're bound vs. glued. They're also a little wider and don't seem to fit standard scanners. I've had to use an exacto knife to get as close to the binding as possible.
There was a phase where I cut out some of the better pictures from some magazines and put them in a binder. I will call those out when they pop up and hopefully crowdsource the issue for scanning purposes.
